All good things must come to an end. For 2024, October is the final month for our Youth Shoot program.

We had an excellent event in September. Perfect weather. Lots of attendees (without it being too crowded). An excellent team to run a full range of shooting activities.

This weekend’s event begins on Sunday (October 6th) and starts at 9 AM. Participants should arrive with their adult guardian a little before to fill out required paperwork. At 9, we conduct a mandatory safety briefing and introduction. At around 9:30 (or thereabouts), the shooters will move out to the range.

We offer a range of shooting activities. Participants can choose from pistol, rifle, shotgun, and black powder rifles. Individuals may choose to try any or all of the available stations. All of the activities are tailored to the shooter’s level. Whether this is the first time or just one of many, participants should find it to be an enjoyable and educational experience.

All the equipment is supplied by the Club. This includes firearms, ammunition, and targets as well as safety gear (eye and hearing protection). Afterwards, when the range has been cleaned up, a free lunch of hamburgers and hotdogs is available to everyone (including accompanying adults) who came.

A final reminder that Club membership is not required and there is no cost but all participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
