.22 Challenge/Aspirin Shoot
Equipment:
1 rear bag, 1 standard bipod. No mechanical rests, No wind flags. .22 LR magazine fed or single shot rifle. No tubular fed magazine rifles. Air rifle shooting up to 45 grain pellets/slugs. All shooting is from a bench. Ammo MUST be Standard or High Velocity 1250 fps MAX.
Course of fire:
10 shots @ aspirins on cardboard @ 50 yards. 10 sighters max. Once engaging the aspirins no returning to sighters. Shoot, hit or miss, move to next aspirin. No spotter.
10 shots @ TUMS on cardboard @ 100 yards. 10 sighters max. Once engaging the TUMS no returning to sighters. Shoot, hit or miss, move to next TUMS. No spotter.
10 shots (No sighters) at the Know Your Limits target at 100 yards. Must hit 1st 2” paddle to move to the next smaller paddle. If you hit all 8 paddles, stay on smallest paddle for last 2 shots. Paddle size starts at 2” each paddle gets smaller in 1/4” increments down to 1/4”. When shooting the KYL target only one shooter at a time with a spotter/scorer.
Total round count including sighters is 50 rounds.

Match price is $10.00.
Sign up begins at 9:00. Match begins at 9:30.
Matches for 2024 are scheduled to take place on May 12th, June 16th, July 14th, and August 11th.
Range rules:
Observe all range safety rules.
When range is called “COLD” actions will be open with empty chamber flags inserted.
No gun handling AT ALL when range is COLD. That includes scope adjustment or any other form of handling. There will be enough time during a HOT range to make any required adjustments.
Eye and ear protection is required.
This event is open to members of the public. We require that all non-member participants fill out the Guest Waiver form and have it initialed by the Match Director.
