.22 300 yard shoot
Equipment:
Long Gong is a 300 yard shooting challenge using rifles chambered in 22lr only. The event is shot from a bench rest and is limited to bipods, and bags. No sleds.
Course of fire:
The 300 yard targets are 8”, 6”, and 4” gongs.
The participants will shoot 5 rounds of 10 shots per round. Each round has a time limit of 3 minutes that will begin and end on the match director’s commands.

Participation:
Those participating must be able to hit the berm at 300 yards during their sight in or you cannot participate.
Match price is $10.00.
Sign up begins at 9:00 AM. Match begins at 9:30 AM. Exception: The May 4th shoot starts after range cleanup activities have concluded – approximately 1PM.
Matches for 2025 are scheduled to take place on May 4th (after clean up/1:00PM), June 1st (9:30AM), July 13th (9:30 AM), and August 3rd (9:30 AM).
Range rules:
Observe all range safety rules.
Please transport all firearms to and from vehicles in a case.
When range is called “COLD” actions will be open with empty chamber flags inserted.
No gun handling AT ALL when range is COLD. That includes scope adjustment or any other form of handling. There will be enough time during a HOT range to make any required adjustments.
Eye and ear protection is required.
This event is open to members of the public. We require that all non-member participants fill out the Guest Waiver form and have it initialed by the Match Director.
